Championship HBF Nail Profi 2025




The HBF Nail Profi Championship in Cyprus 2025 is a competition for nail service professionals, providing a platform to showcase creativity, technique, and artistic vision.
REGULATIONS



Eligibility: All nail service professionals who submit an application and pay the participation fee are eligible to compete.


Categories:

The competition is divided into two skill levels:

  • Junior Nail Profi – For beginners with 1 month to 2 years of experience.
  • Master Nail Profi – For professionals with over 2 years of experience.

Competition Guidelines:

  • All competition entries must be created using professional materials only.
  • Work submissions must be sent in digital format via email.
  • Entries will be evaluated by a professional jury based on specific assessment criteria (evaluation table available in the appendix).
  • Submitted works will be featured on the Health & Beauty Forum Cyprus website and social media platforms.

Important Dates & Fees

  • Submission deadline: March 14, 2025
  • Participation fee: €50 per entry

Awards & Recognition

  • All participants will receive a certificate of participation and prizes.
  • Winners will be awarded diplomas and gifts from partners.
  • Grand Prix winners will receive a voucher for participation as a speaker at Health & Beauty Forum Cyprus 2026.

Competition Categories

The championship features three nomination categories:

  • Eco Nail Poster
  • Salon Nail Poster
  • Fantasy Nail Poster

Each participant may submit up to 2 works per category.


Participants submitting 3 or more works across any categories will automatically be considered for the Grand Prix and evaluated in an additional category based on the highest total score across all submitted nail posters.


Nail Poster Category

Competition Format:

  • This is an off-site competition, meaning that all work must be completed in advance.
  • Any nail artist working with professional materials and specializing in nail design is eligible to participate.
CATEGORIES & TASK DESCRIPTIONS


ECO-NAIL POSTER


  • Create a photographic nail work featuring either natural or artificial nails in neutral, camouflage shades.
  • The nails should be either plain or have minimal design. The focus will be on clean manicure, nail shape, length, and even natural-toned coverage (gel, base coat, or gel polish).
  • The photo can feature: hands only, hands with an object, or a full-image composition with a model.
  • The final result should be a high-quality professional image suitable for a nail artist’s promotional materials.

SALON NAIL POSTER


  • Create a salon-style poster that reflects the style and beauty of the artist’s work.
  • The design can be presented either as part of a complete look or focused solely on nails.
  • A salon nail poster is a professional visual piece that can be used as a promotional advertisement to attract clients.
  • Any color palette can be used, as long as it aligns with the poster’s concept.
  • Manicure must be flawless. Any nail shape and any salon-style nail design are allowed.
  • Acceptable techniques: hand painting, stamping, sliders, rhinestones, 3D designs, and more.
  • Nail length should not exceed 3 cm.

FANTASY NAIL POSTER


  • Create a fantasy-themed nail poster showcasing creative and extraordinary work, both in the overall look and in the nail design.
  • A portrait-style photograph featuring the model and the nail design is required.
  • Any nail shape and length (from 5 cm to 20 cm) is allowed.
  • The model's overall look and styling should complement the nail design.
  • Any decorative elements, accessories, and nail art techniques can be used.

Submission Guidelines


  • All posters must be fully completed and submitted before the competition begins.
  • Photoshop editing is allowed only for color correction of the model’s skin, hands, and body.
  • Using Photoshop or any other editing software to alter the nail shape is strictly prohibited!
  • Each participant guarantees the uniqueness and full copyright of their submitted work.
  • If any work is found to violate copyright rules, the organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant without a refund of the entry fee.
