George has 30 years of broad as well as deep experience in the health and spa
industry.
In the course of his career, he became a specialist in the development and
management of Spas, Fitness and Wellness centers while offering consultancy and
operational management services to all spas categories and fitness clubs.
George has an impressive portfolio of more than 110 international projects including
award-winning spas such as the well-known 3,500sqm Retreat Spa at Aphrodite Hills,
the 3,000sqm Le Meridien Limassol Spa and Resort in Cyprus, the 3,500sqm Euphoria Retreat in Sparta Mystras, one of the 5 best healing destination Spa in the word and the 2500sqm Minthis Destination Spa Operated by Sanctum.
In 2014 he created his own 2000sqm Spa & Fitness Club in Cyprus, Sanctum Spa & Fitness at Limassol Marina.
In 2024 Sanctum Spa & Fitness Brand will open its 7 th Spa & Fitness in Cyprus.
In 2015 he joined the Global Wellness Group as a Global Spa Director responsible for Global Spa Operations & Development and Spa Franchise Development.
George served on the Board of Directors of the International Spa Association (ISPA)
European Chapter as Chairman of Sponsorship, and he was responsible for the
development of the spa industry in many European countries.
He is the founder and Chairman of the Cyprus Spa Association and works closely with the Cyprus Government to oversee the growth and development of the spa sector in Cyprus. He is a regular guest speaker at many international congresses where he shares his expertise in the field of spa development, operation, marketing and profitability.
